To celebrate a decade of Kilpi's presence on the market, we've put together an anniversary luxury collection that will shoot you to the moon! The Kilpi ASTER-M is a high-end men's ski jacket that impresses not only with its clean workmanship but also with its functional features. It is made of the tried and tested and reliable Dermizax membrane material with a water column value of 20,000mm/24h/m2, this material is highly stretchy, durable and together with fully sealed seams guarantees high protection against the snow and frost. Thanks to the lightweight, breathable and warm Primaloft Gold infill, you'll be comfortably warm on the slopes all day long, even in adverse weather. The detachable hood can be adjusted in depth as needed with a drawstring and the hood is large enough to wear over a helmet. In the high collar with fancy micro-ventilation, you can hide your chin from the cold. The sleeve hems can be tightened with Velcro and there are elasticated sleeve cuffs inside the sleeves. In combination with the internal anti-snow collar, the jacket is almost completely snow-proof. The integrated RECCO element can help in locating you in the event of an accident out in the terrain. All zippers are bonded and water repellent. The jacket is equipped with four external pockets, a sleeve pocket for your ski pass but also an internal eyewear pocket with a lens cleaning cloth. In addition, there is an invisible zippered pocket on the back which can be used for a first aid kit, walkie-talkie or gloves. An extra feature is the integrated, hidden face mask inside the inner lining, which you can easily put on and then hide again if necessary. The sporty cut of the jacket is very comfortable, the inner stretch lining ensures comfort during sport, and in case of more intense sporting activity you can use the ventilation zips in the armpits for better breathability. The silver panels in the back lining have the function to better manage your thermal comfort. The jacket's sleek, clean, all-black design is accentuated by subtle touches like laser-cut taping, anniversary patch, and water-resistant carbon-effect zippers. PRIMALOFT® Classic
PrimaLoft® Classic are one of our more classic and most popular insulation materials used especially for ski jackets and pants. The percentage of recyclate in the filler varies from level to level - Black, Silver or Gold, but at least 80% is made from recycled felt waste. The main advantage and difference of Primaloft® fillings, is their ability to resist moisture and their lightness, fluffiness and pack-ability, comparable to down filler.
